Emergency Response & Contingency Planning
This introductory level course will help small water system operators write a basic Emergency Response & Contingency Plan (ERCP). Attendees will learn the components of an ERCP, identify the types of emergencies that can impact a water system and apply actions and communication procedures to these emergency scenarios. Attendees will be able to complete a draft version of their ERCP during this course. There are no prerequisite courses or education required for attendance. The course will be 3 hours long and provide 0.3 EOCP CEU credits for attendance.
