This webinar will provide an overview of the BC Dam safety program and regulations with details on the Dam Consequence Classification System and the requirements of dam owners based on the classification of their dam. The discussion will focus on earthen dams including the components of embankment dams, safety best practices, symptoms of deficiencies as well as resources available to dam owners from the BC Dam Safety Program.
