How do I respond to an ad?

If you would like to respond to a product or service for sale you can contact the poster directly with the phone number they have provided. All communication between buyers and sellers takes place off of the Marketplace site. We do not provide a private messaging service on our platform.

How do I see the seller's contact information?

You need to hover your mouse over the the XXX-XXX-XXXX to reveal the contact information. This helps protect personal information.

Do I need an account?

You only need an account to post products and services for sale. If you are looking for a product or service no account is required.

How do I create an account?

To create an account you must meet the following requirements:

  1. You must be located within British Columbia and over 19 years of age.
  2. You need to attend one of our events to get an invitation code. You will need this invitation code to create an account.
  3. You need to read and follow our Marketplace Terms of Use.

Once you have met all of those requirements, visit the Marketplace Management website at https://marketplace.smallwatersystemsbc.ca to create your account. Click the blue 'Create an account' button on the bottom right of the homepage.

How do I post an ad?

You must have an account and be logged in to the Marketplace Management site to create an ad. 

How much does it cost to post an ad?

There is no cost to use this service. The Marketplace is provided free to our community through the BC Small Water System Online Help Centre.

What if I have a disagreement with the Buyer/Seller? Will you resolve it for us?

All communication between buyers and sellers takes place off of the Marketplace site, and thus we are unable to provide mediation.
