He holds Level II certification in all water disciplines, demonstrating a strong technical foundation and commitment to industry standards. Michael completed his formal training at Water Works Technology in Victoria, where he developed a deep understanding of water treatment and distribution systems. His career includes 8.5 years with Corix, where he gained hands-on experience managing complex utility operations. In addition, Michael successfully owned and operated his own utility contracting and management company for seven years, providing services to small and medium-sized systems and specializing in operator training and mentorship. His passion for building capacity in the water sector has helped numerous operators develop the skills needed to maintain safe and reliable water systems. With a proven track record in utility management, compliance, and workforce development, Michael continues to play a key role in advancing best practices and supporting sustainable water operations across the region.
